Hey everyone. I apologize for the delay in posting anything new. I've been a bit overwhelmed with the details of probate. Think it's under control though.
In case you didn't already know, I've been scanning and posting photos that I've discovered. I really thought mom and I had gone through all of her photos already. Boy was I wrong! They are all (the ones I've completed) on Flickr and you're certainly welcome to go look and/or download any that you like. The picture on the left was one of mom's favorites of herself. She so loved those ribbons.
I know many of you are waiting to hear about a memorial service. Don't think I've been quite ready. But finally I realized why I was having trouble. Mom didn't actually want one, but I do realize now that it's for all of us that we do it. I know she's going to be looking down and fussing at me, but it's time for me to get started. There will be 2 probably, one down here for her local friends and one in New Jersey. They aren't planned yet, and I don't have a date but I'll keep you informed. It may not be a traditional kind of event, but then Mom was not very traditional anyway.
